PodcastCleanup (podcastcleanup.app) is a browser-based tool that transcribes podcast audio on your device, cleans transcripts with deterministic rules, and can generate publishing materials (chapters, clip suggestions, show notes) from the transcript text. The core workflow — transcription, cleanup, and standard exports — is free and requires no account.

The Pro publish pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks an extended AI-generated publishing package (more clip suggestions, a YouTube chapter block, per-platform descriptions). It is delivered digitally and immediately in your browser. The unlock is stored in the browser you purchased in; if you clear browser data or switch devices, contact us with your order reference to restore access.

Purchases are processed by Waffo (Waffo.com Limited), acting as merchant of record. Your card statement will show a Waffo descriptor. Payment details are collected and processed entirely by Waffo — we never see or store your card details.

If the Pro pack did not work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a refund through the merchant of record to your original payment method. Refund timing after approval depends on your card issuer.

Publishing materials are generated by a large language model from your transcript text. AI output can contain mistakes — verify quotes and facts before publishing. Transcript cleanup itself is rule-based, not AI: removals are shown for your review and nothing is rewritten.

Only process audio you have the right to use. Do not use the service to violate law, third-party rights, or to attempt to disrupt the service (including abuse of the generation API).

We may refuse service for abuse of these terms. Fraudulent payments and chargebacks are reported to and handled by the merchant of record.

PodcastCleanup is not affiliated with Descript, Otter.ai, Apple, Spotify, YouTube, or any platform mentioned on this site. Transcription accuracy depends on your audio and device; we do not guarantee fitness for any particular purpose.

Your audio and transcripts remain yours. Generated publishing materials are yours to use. The site, its code, and its content remain ours or our licensors'.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero for free use).

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use means acceptance.
