Why in-browser transcription?
Most podcast transcription tools upload your audio to their servers — that costs them money, which is why they cap your minutes or charge per hour. This tool runs OpenAI's Whisper model directly in your browser: unreleased interviews, client recordings, and rough cuts stay on your machine.
Because there's no server bill, there's no minute cap and no signup. A 60-minute episode takes a few minutes on a modern laptop. The transcript comes back with timestamps, so you also get SRT captions and clip suggestions anchored to real moments.
